Anxiety

9/12/17
Dear Advicer,
I don't know quite how to say this but I have anxiety. It isn't diagnosed, but I feel like everyone on social media is all about no "fake diagnosing." I really think that I have anxiety, one reason is that I physically shake or vomit when I get nervous, I get nervous about the dumbest thing, like raising my hand to ask to use the bathroom. I don't know what to do anymore. Any tips on how to cure my anxiety? It would really help. Please leave me anonymous. Thank you.

Dear Anonymous,
Speaking from past memories of anxiety, I can assure you that with the right help things will get better. I currently have anxiety, but this isn't about me. Anywho, maybe you should think about talking with your physician about your concerns, they can prescribe you anti-stress medicine, but if you are too nervous talk to your parent or guardian and they can bring it up at an appointment. If you don't feel comfortable doing this, I recommend doing any of your hobbies, or a new one, like yoga for instance. There are lots of guided yoga sessions on YouTube, it may seem ridiculous, but trust me, it works. Hope this helps.

I have no idea

7/8/18 Hello Advicer? I hope this is the right email address. Anyways, I firstly wanted to begin my email with a compliment. I really like your blog and I think it's weird that more people aren't as interested in this. But, I'm sure you get a lot of one-on-one emails instead of public ones. OK I'm just going to jump right in to what I'm going to say. I don't know how to explain this. My parents divorced when I was 6. In total, I've lived in 11 different houses and apartments. I've been to 8 different schools. Let's just start from after my parents divorced. My Mom filed for full custody, but lost. She did get main custody, meaning I lived with her and went to school in that district. Not that I stayed at schools very long. My first house with her I don't remember. My first house at my Dad's I don't really remember either. I stayed at the house with my Mom for 1 year, and my Dad's for 2. Before they divorced we lived in 5 d...

Weight

9/10/17 Hi ADVICER, I just came across your blog today and I think it's awesome that you do this type of stuff. Anyways, I have an issue with my weight. I don't need advice on tips and stuff more so just confidence and motivation. Do you think you could help me? I am 175 pounds and 15 years old. I really want to change myself for the better.           ~Jenna, 15, USA Dear Jenna, If you really want to change yourself, then do it. I know I sound ridiculous, but let me explain. The way I build motivation is by thinking of myself in my better form, aka thinking of how comfortable I will be wearing that bikini to the beach. For confidence, it will take some getting used to but everyday, look in the mirror, say "I can do this" 3 times, and smile for 60 seconds. If this method doesn't work, then try repeating. If it still doesn't work, I usually watch My 600 Pound Life, it just makes me feel better about myself. But remember, you...
